Apples to share

Val and I came back from a family visit to Yakima with a box of apples (the relatives are orchardists). There are too many for us to use, so we’re hoping other residents of Skyline would like to have some.

There are some Golden Delicious, some Pink Lady, and some Cosmic Crisp (though I’m not sure I can tell the difference between the latter two). The are all fresh picked from the trees so they will need to be washed thoroughly before use – and used quickly since they lack the thin layer of preservative wax supermarket apples all have.

If you’d like some of these apples, write me at putnam.barber@gmail.com with the number of apples you would like and your apartment number. I’ll bring them to your door.

PS: I keep hoping that I’ll be able to return to the general sharing posts I was doing in the before times, but there’s no telling when that will be. In the meantime, if you do have something you’d like to offer to your neighbors at Skyline, let me know and I’ll send out a notice.
