Candidates Pledge to Participate in Democracy Voucher Program

As of 5/28/21, the following candidates for city office have signed a pledge to participate in the Democracy Voucher Program, and have filed with King County Elections and paid the fee, so they will actually be on the ballot for the Primary Election.

Note:  Pete Holmes, City Attorney, and Teresa Mosqueda, Councilmember for Position 8, are the only incumbents running for reelection.

 Candidates for Mayor: 

  • Donaldson, James  Has contributions from 25 Seattle residents; needs 575 more 
  • Echohawk, Colleen  Has reached the Primary Election maximum expenditure limit and cannot redeem any additional vouchers until after the Primary 
  • Farrell, Jessyn   Qualified to redeem vouchers 
  • González, Lorena Qualified to redeem vouchers 
  • Harrell, Bruce Qualified to redeem vouchers 
  • Houston, Andrew Grant Has reached the Primary Election maximum expenditure limit and cannot redeem any additional vouchers until after the Primary 
  • Randall, Lance Has contributions from 359 Seattle residents; needs 241 more 
  • Rivers, Don L. Has not reported any contributions, needs 600 from Seattle residents 
  • Sixkiller,Casey Has contributions from 21 Seattle residents; needs 579 more 
  • Tucker, Bobby Has not filed a C-1 or any contribution reports, needs 600 contributions 

Candidates for City Attorney: 

  • Davison, Ann Has not filed a C-1 or any contribution reports, needs 400 contributions
  • Holmes,Pete Has contributions from 329 Seattle residents; needs 71 more 
  • Thomas-Kennedy, Nicole Has not reported any contributions, needs 400 from Seattle residents 

Candidates for City Council Position 8:

  • Glumaz, Paul Has contributions from 22 Seattle residents; needs 378 more 
  • Martin, Kathleen Has contributions from 80 Seattle residents; needs 320 more 
  • Mosqueda, Theresa Qualified to redeem vouchers 

Candidates for City Council Position 9:

  • Eichner, Corey Has contributions from 32 Seattle residents; needs 368 more 
  • Grant, Claire Has contributions from 26 Seattle residents; needs 374 more 
  • Gunther, Xtian Has not reported any contributions, needs 400 from Seattle residents 
  • Oliver, Nikkita Has reached the Primary Election maximum expenditure limit and cannot redeem any additional vouchers until after the Primary 
  • Thomas, Brianna K. Qualified to redeem vouchers
