I never would have guessed that is what he was doing. President Trump? Oh, me or my whatever shall we do? Now, I admit that there are not enough brain cells among the Democratic Party leadership to have seen this and taken steps ages ago to bring forth strong leadership and strong policies that were not designed only to give away the country to every woebegone cause. But now they can’t even think of a rebuttal. They have to hope and pray that there are people in leadership positions in business, industry, education, medicine, and the military who will stand up and take a stance that might hurt their pocketbooks a bit, but not as much as Trump is doing now to all of us. Don’t look at your 401 (k) or IRA unless you want to take a swan dive off the highest structure near you. Are we going to be like the majority of the population in Germany who didn’t stand up to Hitler for fear of their lives and property? Or will we stand and fight him and his Gestapo tactics on us, “his people”? Will we, if need be, as his MAGA crowd wishes, take up arms in defense of this country? It has been a long time since I fired a gun and took the oath as a military officer to fight and defend my Country. However, that oath did not pass with me when I resigned.
