Thanks to Steve L. for forwarding this. It makes me wonder whether we should stop reusing the meal delivery bags which could be a source of spread.

To follow this advice one must assume that every food brought to one’s apartment contains the virus. That is a difficult mind set to accept and grasp. In addition seeing as all Skyline residents are over 60 it appears the doctor is suggesting none of us should be doing our own grocery shopping. That may be nearly impossible.
Actually, you shouldn’t be in grocery stores. Use instacart or Amazon fresh or Stockbox which delivers for free. We used instacart for Costco and had to wait 5 days, but the shopper was great and delivered everything to a cart on the 5th floor. All I had to do was wheel the cart to our apt.
Thanks for this video. The beauty of this lesson for all ages is in its description of how to view and handle anything previously handled which could POSSIBLY be contaminated. A medical professional shares a professional perspective with “glitter”. Easy to picture and remember.
As to washing our produce with detergent, I recall a Consumer Reports study which concluded that the best wash for produce is white vinegar in water. This study, however, may have measured bacteria rather than viruses remaining on the produce after a bath.
