IRS Form 990 for Non-Profit Organizations

Every not-for-profit CCRC is required to file a Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service. These are public documents, available on the internet – click here for the link. We are listed under Presbyterian Retirement Communities Northwest.

    I have to wonder why we are STILL listed as under the Presbyterian communities in the PNW, since this is not true. These kinds of oversights suggest that management is not ‘on top’ of publishing accurate information. Also, it hints that we are a ‘religious’ community and that could effect potential marketing. Some would see this as a ‘good thing’ and then find out it is not true. Others could be put off by any reference to a particular religious status. My objection is simply that it is no longer accurate.
