    I’d check the truthfulness of what is stated in this YouTube posted (2/2/2014) commentary. Much of it is not factual at all. All of this video is from the movie: “This Is the Army” 1943. This clip of the movie was posted on 8/26/2009.

    The lyrics have changed since the original (1918) and the words in the introduction heard in this video have changed or been omitted from most performances.
