Lift Every Voice – the Black National Anthem

How about having this anthem sung after the National Anthem at major sporting events where African American athletes predominate.

    We can do better than that. First, sing:

    How Great Thou Art,

    then,

    God Save the Queen.

    And at football games, a tribute to the players who had, have, or will get CTE. That will honor the doctors and hospitals suffering financial losses during the pandemic!

    What a good idea! I will recommend an easier version of this piece for the Skyline Chorale if and when we can gather to sing once again.
