When we were in Saudi Arabia, I was told that a flight attendant (before he was canned and/or caned) announced to the passengers in Riyadh as they touched down: “Welcome to the desert Kingdom. The temperature outside is 105 degrees. If you’d like to set your watch, just turn it back 2000 years.”
But some flight attendants just like to have fun.
