Primary Election Skyline Soapbox – July 14th at 3:00 p.m.

Posted on July 13, 2021 by Jim Tanner

Please join our Master of Ceremonies Steve Ellis on Wednesday, July 11th at 3:00 p.m. for our Bastille Day Primary Election Skyline Soapbox.  This is your chance to share your views on candidates for County Executive, Mayor, City Council and Seattle School Board, or simply to hear what your neighbors think.

You can join us in the Mount Baker Room, or on Zoom.  Please check the CareMerge live calendar for the Zoom link, Meeting ID and pass code.

For those wishing to do some research, the Seattle Times has run a series of articles on the Mayoral front-runners which can be accessed through their https://www.seattletimes.com website.  They have also developed additional information at their eletions website

https://projects.seattletimes.com/2021/seattle-mayor-candidates-primary-mayoral-election-guide/#/candidates

If you’d like to see what’s in the King County Primary Election Voters Pamphlet and haven’t received it, you can find it electronically at:

https://kingcounty.gov/depts/elections/how-to-vote/ballots/whats-on-the-ballot/candidates/202108.aspx

Finally, for the truly wonky geeks you can see who’s raising money, and from whom by going to the PDC website and then selecting a level (municipal for city races); a City (Seattle) a race (Mayor, City Attorney, City Council) and see who got money, including how much, from whom, and what they spent it on.

Please join us and bring your thoughts on who the best candidates might be. For those who want the short list, see below:
