Recently I heard a Harvard trained Oncologist present this as an opening statement in his overview of cancer. It seems worth sharing to show we may have choices in dealing with the shocking words, “You have cancer of … and … your options are.”
What Cancer Can’t Do
It cannot cripple loveIIt cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit
