   Reminds me of the time we in our car faced off a cobra on a back road near our home in South Africa. It reared up its body in typical pose. I drove up to it slowly hitting it softly buy hard enough to hear the contact and feel it. Looked back afterward as it slithered off the road apparently undamaged.
