***ABOUT THIS EVENT–ORGANIZERS’ STATEMENT

March joyfully through Seattle to a Voting Fair at Seattle Center

We March for Free and Fair Elections, and to Protect/Defend our Vote by Mail

Power belongs to the people and elections belong to the states, NOT to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.

On Oct 17th we are turning people power into voting power. Our community is coming together to celebrate voting, to make a plan to vote early, and to ensure that every eligible voter has the opportunity to cast their ballot.

No Kings: Vote Early events are nonpartisan and are designed to increase participation from all eligible voters.

Coalition Partners: Seattle Indivisible, West Seattle Indivisible, SE Seattle Indivisible, North Seattle Progressives, Evergreen Resistance, Troublemakers, Defund Musk

A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
